On September 21st, in Terrassa, the book "L’accident del Tren de les Planes. Memòria de les víctimes d’Ullastrell" (The Train of Les Planes Accident. Memory of the Victims of Ullastrell) was unveiled. This work, coordinated by Rosa Massagué, is dedicated to collecting the names, personal stories, and remembrance of those affected by that tragic railway event.
The event, held at the Casal Cívic Municipal Vapor Gran de Terrassa, served as a gathering point for collective memory and the dissemination of the history of the victims from Ullastrell.
The initiative was made possible through the joint organization of the Ullastrell City Council and the El Llibre de la Vida Association. It also received support from the Club Ferroviari de Terrassa (Terrassa Railway Club), to whom their contribution in promoting the event is gratefully acknowledged.
This meeting highlighted the importance of recovering historical memory, identifying the affected individuals, and keeping the memory of the events alive.
