The municipality of Vacarisses, in Vallès Occidental, has announced the inauguration of a new supermarket and the launch of a weekly market, both events scheduled for mid-May, with the aim of strengthening local economic and social activity.

This Thursday, May 15, the food chain BonÀrea will open its first establishment in Vacarisses. Located at Avinguda Muriel Casals, number 15, the new supermarket promises proximity, variety, quality, and fresh products, offering a new shopping option for residents.
Furthermore, the Vacarisses City Council has announced the creation of a new weekly market set to open on May 19. This market will take place every Tuesday, from nine in the morning to two in the afternoon, at Plaça de la Dona, next to the La Fàbrica building.

"This initiative is born with the desire to consolidate itself as a stable weekly space, fostering shopping habits in the municipality and strengthening local economic activity. Additionally, it aims to become a social meeting point to revitalize village life."

a statement from the City Council
The market will feature food stalls and other complementary vendors, including local businesses from Vacarisses and specialized vendors from nearby municipalities, thereby expanding the commercial offer. To celebrate the inauguration, a reusable bag will be given to all customers who make a purchase on opening day.
The Department of Commerce seeks to improve sustainability in shopping and create a brand image for the market through this action, facilitating its recognition and consolidation as an important weekly event for the community.
