Canovelles is hosting various activities throughout October to support life after breast cancer, including workshops, a solidarity march, and the Reconnecta event.

The town of Canovelles has prepared a series of events to commemorate breast cancer month, with a special focus on life after the illness. The initiative, promoted by Xarxa en Rosa, includes solidarity workshops, a march, and the Reconnecta event.
The activities began last Saturday, October 3rd, with a day of solidarity workshops at Can Palots. In the morning, a workshop on non-toxic home cleaning was held, followed by a workshop on aromatherapy and emotions in the afternoon.
On Sunday, October 18th, the third edition of the march «Dona: corres o camines?» (Woman: do you run or walk?) will take place. This 6-kilometer route will start and end at the Tagamanent pavilion.
The series will conclude on Saturday, October 24th, with the Reconnecta event, organized by Xarxa en Rosa. The event, aiming to provide a space to "reconnect and have a good time," will feature comedian Ramón Cómico, monologist Pepi Labrador, and trainer specialized in women's metabolism and health for women over forty, Noelia Segura.
The solidarity evening, which will start at 5 PM, will also include refreshments, gifts, music, and other surprises. Tickets are priced at 10 euros, with all proceeds going to fund Xarxa en Rosa's projects.
