Registration for the 59th edition of the 'Homage to Old Age' will take place on November 9, 10, and 11. The main event is scheduled for Friday, November 27, and will feature a visit to Sant Antoni de Calonge, a communal lunch, and a closing dance at the town's fairgrounds.
The celebration aims to acknowledge the contributions of the municipality's elderly residents and provide them with a day of recreation. Attendees will have the opportunity to stroll along the coast of Sant Antoni de Calonge, known for its Mediterranean charm and the Costa Brava.
Buses for the trip to Canovelles will depart from Can Palots at 9:30 AM, with participants requested to arrive by 9:00 AM for organizational purposes. The return to Canovelles is expected around 7:00 PM.
Registration is open from 9 AM to 2 PM at Can Palots (main entrance via Plaça de Margarida Xirgu). Participation is free for residents of Canovelles aged 65 and over. Each honoree may be accompanied by one person, at a cost of 74.25 euros, or 45 euros if the companion proves cohabitation or requires assistance due to disability.
