This new initiative's main objective is to monitor the Cardedeu Language Plan and propose concrete actions to foster the presence and use of Catalan in all areas of the municipality. The call is addressed to cultural, educational, commercial, youth, and social entities in the municipality, as well as to individual citizens.
The agenda includes a welcome and introduction of attendees, agreement on the functioning of the Table, presentation of allegations made during the initial approval process of the Plan, evaluation of priority actions, and proposal of a work calendar.
The Cardedeu Local Language Plan, initially approved unanimously by the Municipal Plenary, is a tool designed to plan municipal language policy and define strategic lines for promoting Catalan. The document has been developed with the advice of Plataforma per la Llengua and the collaboration of the Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística de Cardedeu office.
