Badminton El Perelló Achieves Success at Catalan National Finals

The Catalan National Badminton Finals, held in la Garriga on June 6th, have confirmed the high level of athletes from Bàdminton El Perelló, who achieved numerous successes.

The competition, which took place in la Garriga, witnessed the excellent performance of the players from Bàdminton El Perelló. The club excelled in both individual and doubles events, demonstrating the effective work in training young talents.
In the individual men's categories, Ian Albiol Clar was crowned Catalan Champion in the U13 (alevín) category, while Joan Callau Labòria achieved the same title in the U15 (juvenil) category. Additionally, Owen Cortlever secured third place in U13 boys. In the U9 (benjamí) category, Biel Joanpere Jamas finished fourth and Elies Fontanet Llaó sixth.
Regarding the women's categories, Emma Fontanet Llaó was the Catalan runner-up in U13, and Júlia Domènech Brull achieved the runner-up position in U15. In U13 boys, Ferran Pinyol Porras ranked fifth and Marcel Lleixà José seventh.
The doubles competition was also highly successful for the club. The U13 boys' doubles saw victory for Ian Albiol Clar and Owen Cortlever, while Sulliy Bernard and Eric Gonzalvo Cartoixa were runners-up. In U13 mixed doubles, Ian Albiol Clar and Emma Fontanet Llaó were crowned champions. The U13 boys' doubles were won by Marcel Lleixà José and Ferran Pinyol Porras. Finally, in U9 boys' doubles, Biel Joanpere Jamas and Elies Fontanet Llaó secured the runner-up position.
These results solidify Bàdminton El Perelló as a leading municipal sports activity, highlighting the talent of its players and their dedication to sports training.
