Fans of board games, video games, and Japanese culture will find their meeting point at the Sputnik Youth Center for the seventh edition of the Montornès Alternative Leisure Festival (FOAM). The event, organized by the driving group and the Municipal Youth Department, will take place on Saturday, October 3rd, as part of the Kosmos 2026 participatory budgets.
From 10 AM to 10 PM, attendees can sample a variety of board games and video games, as well as participate in several tournaments throughout the day. New this year is a workshop on assembling Mini 4WD vehicles with a competition, and a game of the card game Bang.
The festival will also offer the chance to engage with sports like table football and chess through workshops led by Barcelona Futbol Taula Montornès and the Club d’Escacs Montornès, respectively. Other returning activities include the Paraulògic from the Oficina de Català de Montornès and a Beyblade X tournament organized by Beyclub Barcelona.
Following a free ramen lunch (while supplies last), artist VictorMame, keyboardist for the group Doctor Prats, will test attendees' knowledge with a new anime quiz.
