With a personal and expressive voice, Bilá has developed her career performing on stages across Europe and America. Her music, rooted in singer-songwriter tradition, blends elements of contemporary jazz, soul, and her Andalusian heritage.
Currently, the quintet presents the project La Ilusa, a new artistic phase featuring top-tier musicians from the European jazz scene. The ensemble includes Daahoud Salim (piano), Mauro Cottone (double bass), Giacomo Camilletti (drums), and Bruno Calvo (trumpet).
With La Ilusa, Paula Bilá crafts an intimate and nuanced repertoire, where her voice dialogues with jazz improvisation and language, creating a contemporary, sensitive, and highly personal offering.
