Carrer Major is closed due to a wall collapse, preventing passage through the affected area. Similarly, Camí de la Riereta is shut due to the poor condition of the road, and crossing the river on foot is also prohibited due to increased flow.
On Camí de Vallcarquera, near Can Puig, traffic is halted due to water accumulation rendering the path impassable.
The Catalan Water Agency (ACA) reports that the flow of the Congost River at the La Garriga station has exceeded 60.2m3/s, surpassing the alert threshold. This increase may affect low-lying areas, riverside paths, and zones near the riverbank, as well as infrastructure in frequently flooded areas. Rainfall is expected to continue, potentially further raising the river's flow.
The City Council urges citizens to exercise extreme caution, avoid unnecessary travel, and respect all closures and instructions. It is recommended not to access affected areas or attempt to cross watercourses until their safety can be guaranteed.
