The Voluntariat per la llengua program has kicked off in Montornès for the 2026-2027 academic year, with six language pairs already active and seeking new meeting spots.

The Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística (CPNL) has launched a new edition of the Voluntariat per la llengua program in Montornès for the 2026-2027 academic year. The conversation group is underway, contact with local entities has been re-established, and visits to shops have begun to promote the initiative.
Currently, six language pairs are participating in the program, some continuing their experience from the previous year. Two of the new pairs, consisting of Marc and Yana, and M. Rosa and Gioryeth, have already had their first meeting and started conversations in Catalan.
Due to the heavy rains, the usual meeting space at the Casal de Cultura has been lost. However, new alternatives have been arranged for pleasant conversations. The Leveroni Library, specifically the magazine room, and various cafes affiliated with the program are now serving as meeting points. Additionally, the natural environment of the Parc de la Serralada Litoral offers an option for walks and conversations.
The meeting points for the Voluntariat per la llengua in Montornès include cafes such as Bar Casal d'Avis Montornès Centre, Ca l'Elvira, Can Tomàs, El Racó del Cafè, Hotel Can Campa, Pastisseria Elena, and Pastisseria Viñallonga, as well as the Leveroni Library.
