Civil Protection has confirmed the continuation of the Emergency phase of the Special Plan for Flood Emergencies of Catalonia (INUNCAT) due to meteorological forecasts.

The Meteorological Service of Catalonia has issued a warning for rainfall intensity, anticipating the exceeding of 20 mm in 30 minutes in most Catalan counties today, Tuesday. Precipitation will begin in the morning in the southern extreme of the territory and will extend throughout the country in the afternoon, with particular probability in the Terres de l'Ebre region.
In the late afternoon and evening, the rains will move north, affecting the central coast and, notably, the southern coast of the Costa Brava. In these areas, accumulations are expected to exceed 40 mm in a 30-minute period.
Concurrently, municipal personnel from the Local Police, brigades, Civil Protection, and ADF are actively working to resolve any incidents that may arise from these adverse weather conditions.
