The Sona Mollet 2026 festival transforms the city with a musical agenda featuring jazz, classical concerts, and educational activities across various public spaces.

The Association of the Maria Canals International Music Competition will set up a piano in Plaça Catalunya, Mollet del Vallès, hosting musical and educational activities throughout the day. The event will conclude with a piano concert by a young participant from the prestigious Maria Canals Competition of Barcelona, promising an exhibition of talent, virtuosity, and passion.
The program includes a piano concert by Guillem León, performing works by Mompou, Granados, and de Falla. Later, at Plaça Prat de la Riba, the Mollet Jazz Band, a formation from the Municipal School of Music and Dance with thirty years of history, will give a concert.
At the Mercat Vell, at 9 PM, the Paula Bilá Quintet will perform. Led by singer-songwriter Paula Bilá, the project explores jazz, soul, and roots music with international influences. The ensemble features Daahoud Salim (piano), Mauro Cottone (double bass), Giacomo Camilletti (drums), and Bruno Calvo (trumpet).
At 11:30 AM, the Teatre de Can Gomà will host "Bon Voyage!" by the Orthemis Orchestra. Ten string musicians will theatricalize the story of an orchestra stranded at an airport due to a flight cancellation, experiencing absurd situations and personal conflicts with humor and virtuosity.
