The testimony, which lasted over two hours, was given in connection with an activity organized by the Blaus group, which simulated the manufacture and throwing of molotov cocktails at effigies representing police officers. At the time of the events, the investigated councillor held the Culture portfolio.
In addition to the municipal official, three leaders of the Blaus group have also been summoned to testify as investigated parties. The prosecution accuses them of an alleged case of defamation, which could escalate to a crime of aggravated public disorder, as reported by ACN.
The workshop, titled 'Applied Urban Guerrilla Techniques', was part of the official program for the Festa Major in August 2024. The initial complaint was filed by a police union with the Prosecutor's Office. Although the case was initially provisionally dismissed, the Prosecutor's Office appealed the decision, requesting an investigation into the councillor and the organizing members.
