The 37th La Llagosta Popular Race will take place on Sunday with an expected participation of over a thousand athletes. The event features three categories: a 10-kilometer race with 547 registered, a 5-kilometer race with 441 participants, and children's races, which have 67 registered.
The 5-kilometer circuit is homologated by the Catalan Athletics Federation and will be a scoring event for the Lliga Championchip. The start for both the 5k and 10k races will be simultaneous at 9:30 AM from Carrer de l’Estació, near Passeig de l’Alcalde José Luis López Segura. The children's races, covering distances from 300 to 800 meters, will commence at 11:10 AM on the same street.
To commemorate the town's 90th anniversary, a special t-shirt has been designed for the Popular Race.

Race registration included the option to make a donation to the NGO Debra Piel de Mariposa, which supports individuals with the rare and incurable butterfly skin disease, known for its extreme skin fragility leading to wounds and blisters.
During the 37th Popular Race, traffic restrictions will be in place in La Llagosta between 9 AM and 11 AM. The race route will be completely closed to vehicles from 9 AM, with traffic gradually being restored as the event progresses.
