L'Ametlla del Vallès has celebrated the replanting of works for the future Synerkos TVS research and automation center, thus unblocking the Sant Jordi Partial Plan, pending for over twenty years, and promoting urban and mobility improvements.

The works, with an execution period of one year, brought together municipal representatives and those from the company Synerkos TVS, led by its CEO, Daniel Arranz, yesterday, Wednesday, October 21st. Mayor Jan Santaló highlighted the urban, economic, and mobility benefits of the project, as well as the arrival of a high-value-added industrial activity that is expected to generate new jobs and municipal revenue.
Synerkos TVS CEO, Daniel Arranz, emphasized the municipality's strategic location and the facilities provided by the City Council. The new facilities will include two buildings with offices, central services, engineering, automation, and logistics spaces, as well as a gym, paddle tennis courts, and a dining area to attract talent.
The project also includes significant road improvements, such as a new roundabout at the intersection of the Llerona road (BV-1433) with the town entrance, and the expansion of acceleration and deceleration lanes on the C-17 towards Vic to enhance safety. Furthermore, the Pinar de Rosanes neighborhood will be redeveloped with new sidewalks, the extension of Ripollès street, sewage system improvements, a new green area, and the reorganization of the parking lot around the Sant Jordi shopping center.
The establishment of Synerkos TVS, which is relocating its Catalan headquarters from the Basque Country, represents a decisive step towards transforming a strategic sector of the municipality, addressing historical demands, and opening new opportunities for economic development.
