The L'Ametlla del Vallès City Council has opened the call for post-compulsory educational mobility grants, aimed at young people between 16 and 24 years old registered in the municipality who are studying outside the municipal area and have to travel regularly.

The initiative seeks to contribute to the transport expenses of students and facilitate access to education, reducing the economic burden of travel outside the municipality. The grants are aimed at young people registered in L'Ametlla del Vallès and enrolled in post-compulsory regulated studies outside the municipal area.
The call covers a wide variety of studies, including baccalaureate, vocational training cycles (CFGM and CFGS), training and insertion programs (PFI), specific training pathways (IFE), regulated artistic studies, and university studies, among others.
The grants are intended to cover part of the travel expenses between home and the study center, mainly through public transport. In exceptional cases, private vehicle travel may be subsidized if no adequate public transport alternative exists.
The deadline for submitting applications is 20 working days from the day after publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB). Interested individuals can submit their application through the electronic headquarters of the City Council, in person at the Citizen Attention Office (OAC), or through any legally provided registry.
For more information on the bases, requirements, and application process, please visit the municipal website www.ametlla.cat. With this initiative, the City Council reaffirms its commitment to supporting young people and ensuring equal opportunities in accessing education.
