During the ordinary plenary session held on Thursday, October 29th, the council approved the tender for the management and operation of the Les Franqueses del Vallès Municipal Sports Complex and the Corró d’Avall municipal sports area. This decision follows a resolution from the Catalan Public Sector Contracts Tribunal and includes the approval of new administrative and technical tender documents.
Furthermore, the Council declared the works for the partial replacement of the roof and repair of the sanitation system at Escola Camins, located at Carrer de Rafael Alberti, 4, as being of special interest. This declaration will result in a 95% bonus on the Construction, Installation, and Works Tax (ICIO).
The council also authorized the compatibility for public activity of Eva Carrizo Duran, a municipal employee, to collaborate with the Public Agency for Training and Professional Qualifications of Catalonia. This authorization may be renewed annually under specified conditions.
Other resolutions include declaring the urgency to include budget modifications on the agenda to address actions related to the floods of October 4th and 5th, and the initial approval of a budget modification amounting to €2,379,086.08 from the 2025 budget surplus for investment financing.
