The gala, which took place on Thursday, October 9th, brought together athletes, clubs, families, and residents to recognize the local season's achievements. A panel of specialists decided the sports merit awards, evaluating candidates' careers and values.
Toni Lapuente Salabert (athletics) stood out for his long-distance season, participating in the Valencia Marathon (3:17:09) and the Barcelona Marathon (3:22:00), in addition to securing second place in the Lliçà d’Amunt 15 km night race and eighth in the 2026 des Pyrénées triathlon.
Meanwhile, Abril Serrano Salvador (figure skating) competed at an international level, achieving fourth place in the 2026 World Cup, eighth in the Spanish Championship, and fifth in the Catalan Final.
The major novelty of this edition was the introduction of the 'Promesa' awards for young talents aged 12 to 17. Jan Lapuente Tomàs (athletics, 13 years old) became Catalan champion in the 3,000 meters and road duathlon, among other successes. Violeta Marín del Salto (dance, 17 years old) was crowned world champion in Lyrical and runner-up in Duo Lyrical, also receiving a special nomination and scholarships for international schools.
Several local teams were also recognized for their promotions and championships, including Club Futbol Lliçà de Vall (promotion to 3rd Regional), Club Tennis i Pàdel Les Argelagues (Catalan youth team champions), Club Futbol Sala Lliçà de Vall (promotion for the U11 B team), and the dance groups from Fòrum Licano.
The Club Bàdminton Lliçà de Vall saw four of its athletes honored: Ariadna López, David Rodríguez, Lucía López, and Joel Hernando. Additionally, values such as coexistence, training, equality, and effort were awarded to various entities in the municipality.
All 13 sports entities in Lliçà de Vall received a distinction for their work. The Club Patí Lliçà de Vall and Fòrum Licano received special recognition for their contribution to making the gala possible.
The evening featured performances by the Club Patí Lliçà de Vall, Fòrum Licano, and Charlie Diago and his group. Mayor Xavier Castillejo, Sports Councilor Sonia Marinas, and other municipal representatives participated in the award ceremony.
