Llinars del Vallès held its first Municipal Council for the Catalan Language on October 22nd at Can Lletres, aiming to boost the social use of Catalan in all areas.

The municipal body has begun defining initiatives to encourage Catalan use in daily life. This initial session launched working groups focused on key areas: education, sports, commerce, and culture.
Citizens interested in joining these working groups can email consellperlallengua@llinarsdelvalles.cat, even if not council members. Specific objectives for the year have also started to be outlined.
The event was attended by deputy mayor Mònica López.
