The exhibition "Quan parles fas màgia" (When you speak you make magic), an initiative by the Voluntariat per la Llengua (VxL - Volunteering for Language), has arrived at the Institut Gallecs in Mollet del Vallès, where it will be on display until October 16th.

The exhibition uses the metaphor of magic to highlight the capacity of conversation to grow the Catalan language and transform the lives of participants. It is organized into several panels addressing aspects such as volunteering, linguistic transformation, language partnership modalities (virtual and in-person), program organizational dimensions, collaborations with entities and establishments, and an invitation to join.
The Voluntariat per la llengua program, promoted by the Department of Linguistic Policy of the Generalitat de Catalunya and managed by the Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística (Linguistic Normalization Consortium), facilitates the practice of Catalan for individuals with basic knowledge who need fluency through conversation with native or experienced speakers.
Through this exhibition, the Institut Gallecs aims to promote the oral use of the language and extend this initiative to other educational centers in the city. The activity adapts the concept of language partnerships for newly arrived students and participating volunteers, complementing classroom learning in support classes.
This initiative is co-organized by the Mollet del Vallès City Council - Educational Environment Plan, the Institut Gallecs, and the Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística, through the Local Catalan Service of Mollet del Vallès (CNL Vallès Oriental), with the goal of fostering the use of Catalan in the city's educational centers.
