The 'Sustainable Markets' project aims to strengthen the role of markets as spaces for proximity, social cohesion, and sustainability, promoting sustainable trade and responsible consumption.
Food stalls will receive reusable mesh bags to distribute among customers, as an alternative to single-use bags. Additionally, simple measures for waste reduction and good environmental practices will be shared.
Citizens will also play an active role with informational activities to promote more responsible consumption. Shoppers can participate in events and raffles for sustainable products linked to their purchases.
