Last Thursday, October 1st, the Sant Fost de Campsentelles City Council honored Carmen and Pascual, a couple who for over 30 years has voluntarily and altruistically taught ballroom dancing in the municipality.

The event, held at the Auditori, was a grand surprise celebration full of emotion. It began with a mock recording on stage that concluded with numerous couples dancing a joint choreography with the honorees.
After receiving their honor bands and participating in a general dance, an emotional video was shown, and they were presented with a commemorative trophy in gratitude for their infinite generosity and selfless dedication.
Although they are officially retiring from teaching, the rhythm and joy they have shared are now part of the local culture. The City Council thanks them for their dedication and also acknowledges the contribution of all those who made the surprise possible, as well as Àngel Luz, a volunteer from Casa Bastinos, for the day's photographic collection.
