The torrential rains caused landslides, water accumulation, leaks, and dampness, affecting both streets and homes. From the outset, the council has monitored the situation to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
On public roads, cleanup work has been carried out to remove mud, soil, and vegetation debris, along with interventions to secure various points in the municipality. Regarding the Can Coromines social housing, incidents such as the restoration of electricity supply and elevator repair have been resolved.
The day after the storm, on October 5th, the roof of the affected buildings was inspected, and procedures with the insurance company were initiated. Repairs will continue to be scheduled between October 21st and 23rd to address the remaining damage.
