Once again this year, the Vilanova del Vallès City Council is promoting the Children and Adolescents Council, a space designed for children and adolescents to express their opinions, ideas, and proposals for improving the municipality.
As a main novelty this year, the Council is incorporating 1st year of ESO students for the first time, thus expanding the opportunity for more young people to get involved in the construction of the municipality.
Elections to choose the new representatives will take place on Friday, October 16th, in the municipality's educational centers. In the days leading up to it, the Education department will visit schools and the institute to explain how the council works and encourage students to run for office.
Children and adolescents attending 5th grade, 6th grade of primary school, or 1st year of ESO outside the municipality can also submit their candidacy by sending an email to consellinfancia@vilanovadelvalles.cat before October 13th.
This initiative represents an opportunity for young people to voice their concerns, propose new initiatives, and contribute to making Vilanova del Vallès a better municipality for everyone.
