Cabra del Camp Finalizes Preparations for May Festival

The municipality in Alt Camp will celebrate its small festival with activities for all ages, including the traditional Elderly People's Festival.

Cabra del Camp is getting ready for its May Festival, which will take place on the first weekend of the month, with a varied program including religious events, music, and a celebration dedicated to the elderly.

The Cabra del Camp City Council has completed preparations for its small town festival, which will be held during the first weekend of May. The festivities will begin on May 2 with the blessing of the term in the Plaça de la Creu starting at 10:30 AM, followed by a solemn service at the parish church.
After the religious service, the Plaça de l'Església will host a vermouth concert featuring the performance of MR. D. In the afternoon, the festive events will continue at the Sala 1 d'Octubre, where at 6 PM there will be a performance by comedian David Sas, followed by a festival concert by Trio Six.
May 3 will be entirely dedicated to the Elderly People's Festival. This day will begin with a mass at 10:30 AM at the parish church, followed by a lunch at the Masia del Pla restaurant. During lunch, a special recognition will be made with the presentation of a bouquet of flowers to the oldest married couple, woman, and man in the municipality. The celebration will conclude with a performance by Alma Kozar.
For those wishing to participate in the Elderly People's Festival lunch, registration is already open and can be formalized at the Casa de la Vila. The deadline to sign up is April 28 at noon, and it is necessary to specify the chosen option for each dish.
