Approximately 6% of the population over fifteen years old in Valls and Alcover have higher education, according to Idescat data between 2023 and 2024.

Idescat data reveals that, during the 2023-2024 period, the proportion of the population with higher education in Valls and Alcover remains around 6%. In Valls, with 10,848 registered individuals in 2024, 659 (6.1%) had higher education, while 9,723 (89.6%) did not.
In Alcover, with 2,259 registered individuals in 2024, 102 (4.5%) had higher education, and 2,037 (90.2%) did not. The figures from 2023 showed similar percentages for both municipalities.
Although Valls has a larger absolute number of people with vocational and university training due to its greater population, the comparative percentages between the two municipalities in the Alt Camp region are quite comparable regarding higher education.
