Alt Camp Offers Diverse Cultural and Sports Agenda for the Weekend

The region proposes activities ranging from gastronomic tastings in a historical setting to Catalan opera and a decisive football match.

This weekend, the Alt Camp region presents a wide array of activities combining gastronomy, culture, and sports, with proposals for all audiences.

Among the most notable proposals, Vila-rodona will host a new edition of the Columbarium Tapa on Sunday, May 10. This initiative will allow attendees to enjoy tapas and tastings from local wineries, breweries, and restaurants, set against the unique backdrop of the Roman Columbarium. The event, taking place from 12 PM to 2 PM, will also include guided tours inside the monument, offering an experience that merges gastronomy with historical heritage.
Concurrently, Les Pobles will celebrate its Roser Major Festival, which will kick off on Friday evening with the Diablons and Versots, and conclude on Monday with a popular Sardinada at 8:30 PM. The festive program includes traditional events such as the procession on Saturday, May 9, at 6 PM, and children's activities with inflatables on Sunday morning.
For enthusiasts of graphic and editorial arts, Montferri will host the third edition of La Gaianada throughout Saturday, May 9. The day will begin at 10 AM with a children's workshop and several publication presentations. The closing event, scheduled for 6 PM, will feature a harp concert by Anna Amigó.
In the musical sphere, the Milà community center will present the opera performance Il teatro alla moda on Sunday at 12 PM. This cultural offering aims to bring the operatic genre closer to the public in Catalan, blending classical elements with a contemporary perspective full of humor and reflection.
Finally, sports will also have their place with a crucial Lliga Elit match. Unió Esportiva Valls will host UA Horta on Saturday at 4:05 PM. This encounter, with free admission, will be decisive for the local team's aspirations, as they contend for play-off positions and strive to secure their permanence in the category.
