Changes in the Board of the Alcover Women's Collective

The Alcover Women's Collective has renewed its board of directors at the Ordinary General Assembly, with Angelina Fons Bové as the new president.

The organization held its Ordinary General Assembly on Wednesday, where accounts and budgets were approved, and changes to the board were voted upon. The meeting began shortly after 6 PM in the plenary hall of the Casa de la Vila, attended by mayor Robert Figueras and councilwoman Maria Roca.
Assumpció Casero steps down as president after ten years at the helm, although her involvement with various boards of the entity spans over three decades. Casero received a bouquet of flowers and a farewell letter from the City Council.
The new board is composed of Angelina Fons Bové as president, Paulina Girona Caparó as secretary, Anna Maria Fons Bové as vice-president, Amparo Biosca Nicolau as vice-secretary, Montserrat Torner Gibert as treasurer, and Àngels Busquets Biosca, Maria Ribellas Brunet, and Remei Cabré Godall as members.
