The Mossos d'Esquadra have opened criminal proceedings against a driver who was traveling at 192 km/h in a 100 km/h zone near Valls.

The speed detected by the radar nearly doubled the limit established on that road, constituting a serious offense against road safety. After recording the speeding violation, officers initiated an operation to locate the vehicle.
The car was eventually intercepted in the city of Tarragona. During the check conducted by police officers, the driver was subjected to drug detection tests.
The test result was positive for drugs. Consequently, the police force has proceeded to criminally report the individual for both the excessive speed and driving under the influence of prohibited substances.
