The municipality of El Milà, in Alt Camp, will host a unique cultural event on May 10: the opera buffa Il Teatro alla Moda, a Catalan adaptation of Benedetto Marcello's work.

This performance, which will take place in the multipurpose hall of the Casal, is part of an initiative to revitalize local culture, supported by the Diputació de Tarragona.
The adaptation of Benedetto Marcello's original work was made possible by the libretto of Marcel Pascual and the music of Carles Prat Vives. The show, structured in two acts, aims to merge operatic tradition with a modern perspective, bringing the genre closer to the audience in the Catalan language.
The opera's plot centers on a couple trapped in daily routine. Through a series of unexpected events, the protagonists embark on an emotional journey that leads them to revisit their past, offering a humorous reflection on relationships and time.
