The Chair of Tourism Innovation and Research Salou-Costa Daurada at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili has launched a new publication offering a creative journey to explore the locality. The book, titled "Salou, colors that inspire", aims to foster a more deliberate and conscious perspective on the municipality.
This initiative is part of the chair's research line «Heritage and Cultural Identity». The presentation event included Professor Marta Nel·lo Andreu, illustrator Andrea Francín Pedrola, and the mayor of Salou, Pere Granados.
Through ten original illustrations, the book invites readers to explore Salou's history, culture, natural heritage, and daily life. Each image serves as an invitation to observe, discover, imagine, and color, allowing individuals to reinterpret the landscape and create a personal memory of the town.
Illustrator Andrea Francín Pedrola, who is connected to Cap Salou, created the artworks, bringing her unique perspective and personal connection to the municipality. The publication blends art, heritage, identity, and well-being, offering an intimate and creative approach to rediscovering Salou's identity.
The hardcover book spans 32 pages and includes a watercolor painting sheet, thus providing an experience that goes beyond a simple coloring book.
