Adolescents represent a complex group within psychotherapy, with still limited bibliography. In this context, the EAIA del Tarragonès is using its 20th anniversary celebration to review different intervention methodologies for particularly challenging cases.
The cases handled by the EAIA involve families with a marked deficit in their parental capacities. Symptoms in the children, which often begin in early childhood, intensify during adolescence and can extend to other areas such as school, marginal groups, drug addiction, or social services.
