El Pla de Santa Maria celebrated the Corpus Christi festival on Sunday, June 7th, with a procession through the town's main streets.

The Corpus Christi celebration in El Pla de Santa Maria, held on Sunday, June 7th, gathered residents for the scheduled events. This year, the festival was marked by a reduction in street decorations, with only one street adorned with flowers and an altar, specifically on Plaça Pau Casals and a section of Carrer Major, unlike previous years with more extensive decorations.
The procession followed a route that included Carrer Major, Carrer Soldevila, Carrer de la Réria (leading to the Town Hall), Carrer de la Sardana, Plaça de la Pau, and concluded again on Carrer Major and at the Plaça de l'Església.
Religious activities commenced at 6 PM with a mass at the Church of l’Assumpció, accompanied by the Coral Parroquial. Following the service, the Corpus Christi procession began, with the Col·lectiu de Dones (Women's Collective) participating with their banner. As is tradition, the procession included representatives from the parishes of Figuerola and Cabra del Camp.
