The Town Council of El Pla de Santa Maria has opened the submission period for the 2026 Participatory Budgets, an initiative allocated 50,000 euros.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20th, the proposal submission phase for the municipality's Participatory Budgets begins, which can be made until next June 26th at the Town Hall (Casa de la Vila).
This process consists of four phases: proposal submission (until June 26th), presentation of proposals for voting (July 6th), voting phase (July 13th to September 18th), and publication of winning proposals (September 24th).
Any person registered or with a second residence in the municipality can submit a proposal, individually, in a group, or as a representative of an entity. Proposals must be of general interest, within municipal competence, non-discriminatory, and technically, legally, and economically viable.
A Technical Commission will evaluate the received proposals, accepting only one per person or entity, and will decide which ones proceed to the voting phase.
