The Sustainability Fair in Gurb celebrated its tenth edition on Sunday, September 27. The event offered recreational and educational activities for all ages, with a special focus on sustainable mobility, energy and water saving, and environmental awareness.
A key highlight was sustainable mobility, featuring a popular bike ride that allowed participants to explore bike lanes and encourage daily cycling. Throughout the morning, various initiatives raised awareness about the importance of saving energy and water, and the small daily changes that contribute to environmental care.
The program also included family activities such as Les Bicicletes Impossibles by Marc, Guixot de 8, a zip line, an inflatable structure, information booths, and a popular breakfast. The fair was held in the courtyard of Les Escoles, also utilizing the solar pergola inaugurated the previous year, a space that exemplifies the municipality's commitment to renewable energy.
With ten editions held, the Sustainability Fair continues to be an annual event crucial for bringing environmental initiatives, clean energy, and more sustainable mobility closer to the public.
