Fire in Valls: One hectare of vegetation burns in a stream

Firefighters worked with eight ground units and one helicopter to stabilize the blaze in just over an hour.

A fire has burned approximately one hectare of reeds, bushes, and scrubland along the banks of the Sant Pou stream, near the N-240, in Valls, this Monday afternoon.

The blaze broke out around 3:19 PM, according to the time of the alert. Eight ground units from the fire department and a helicopter were quickly dispatched to the scene to extinguish the flames.
The fire, which initially spread with intensity, was stabilized by emergency teams shortly after 5 PM.
