The Generalitat Firefighters have stabilized the six forest fires that remained active in Catalonia, on a day marked by high temperatures and the simultaneity of the blazes.

Extinction services have worked intensely to control the fires, especially in the province of Barcelona, where fires in Navarcles, with 19 crews working, Sentmenat, with 37 units, the Anoia region, with 8 vehicles, and Gavà, with 6 units, have been stabilized.
In Tarragona, the fire declared in Pla de Manlleu, Aiguamúrcia, with 25 units, has also been stabilized since yesterday, as has the one in Guimerà, in the Urgell region, with 13 units in Lleida.
Civil Protection lifted the confinements yesterday evening that had been decreed due to the impact in Sentmenat, Aiguamúrcia, and Navarcles, which had affected nearly 11,000 people.
The last fire to be stabilized was in Guimerà, with the alert received yesterday at 8:48 PM in the Rabassoles area. Today, Firefighters will review the perimeter, especially a difficult-to-access slope.
Previously, shortly after 10:00 PM last night, the Navarcles fire was declared under control. It affected an industrial estate and a recycling plant, and led to the confinement of about 9,000 people.
The Minister of the Interior of the Generalitat, Núria Parlon, urged maximum caution yesterday due to the high temperatures forecast for the coming days, to prevent any activity that could cause a fire.
