The neighborhood of La Fraternal in Valls is all set for its summer Festival, now in its 23rd edition. The Residents' Association has organized a schedule that emphasizes closeness and community, with events open to everyone.
Activities commence on Thursday afternoon with offerings for the youngest attendees, such as basketball sports games and a football penalty shootout tournament, aimed at promoting health and neighborhood spirit among the youth.
On Friday, starting at 7 PM, the festivities will ramp up with the traditional parade led by the animation group All i Oli de l’UAF, bringing popular culture and rhythm to the neighborhood, followed by an outdoor 'carmanyola' (packed lunch) dinner.
Saturday night marks the highlight with the communal dinner, expected to draw nearly a hundred attendees. The evening will feature a raffle of items donated by residents and a night dance with the group Estel Blau.
The celebration will conclude on Sunday afternoon with the same group, Estel Blau, presenting the traditional 'cantada d’havaneres' (sea shanty singing).
