The President of the Tarragona Provincial Council, Noemí Llauradó, visited the municipality of La Riba in Alt Camp this morning for an institutional visit to learn about local projects. The tour also included a stop in Picamoixons.
Upon arrival at La Riba Town Hall, Llauradó was welcomed by the municipal government led by Mayor Josep Fort. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Delegate for Municipal Concertation and Assistance Marc Bigordà, and deputies Marc Rovira and Enric Garcia.
After signing the guest book and a breakfast, a tour commenced to view the highlighted initiatives. The first stop was the interpretive space of the Molí del Racó, a recently restored old paper mill that illustrates the importance of this industry in the 17th and 18th centuries, and is part of an urban route featuring over twenty preserved mills.
The delegation proceeded to the terrace of the Casal d'Avis to view the multi-sport court and the lighting for the paddle tennis court. Subsequently, they visited the improvements made to the Placeta de cal Torres, the Molí del Besora (currently the Municipal Tourist Information Point), and concluded with a presentation of the future project for Avinguda de la Vila.
