One dead and two injured in head-on collision between van and truck in Alcover

The C-14 highway has been closed in both directions following a three-vehicle crash in the Alt Camp region.

A man died this Tuesday, March 17, in a serious traffic accident on the C-14 highway in Alcover, involving a van, a truck, and a passenger car.

The incident occurred around 7:30 AM at kilometer 26.1. According to the Catalan Transit Service, a van and a truck collided head-on, with a third vehicle also becoming involved in the crash.
The driver of the van was killed instantly. Two other individuals sustained minor injuries and were taken to the Pius Hospital in Valls by emergency services.
Emergency responders including the Mossos d'Esquadra police and Firefighters attended the scene. The C-14 remains closed in both directions, with traffic diverted to the T-742 road.
