The town of Vallmoll officially begins its Main Festival this Friday with the opening speech, which will lead into four days of cultural, children's, and sports activities until Monday.

After a week of preliminary events, Vallmoll is experiencing the main part of its Festa Major starting this Friday. The opening day will feature a morning dedicated to children with the show 'Versus' by the company Passabarret at the Cultural Centre.
In the afternoon, journalist Josep Baigés will deliver the festival's opening speech. Afterwards, the drawing, petanque, and facade arrangement awards will be presented, followed by a tasting of coca and cava. The evening will be enlivened by performances from David Jiménez, Emili Gispert, the band Star Ways Band, and the Flaix Va parir Tour party.
On Saturday, the patron saint's day, the event will begin with the main festival mass at the church and continue with sardanes by the Cobla Reus Jove at the Cultural Centre. In the afternoon, the Popular Culture Showcase will feature the Agrupació Cultural el Moll, the Colla gegantera de la Pessigolla de Valls, and other invited groups. The 48th Antonio Lara Trophy will be played at the football field between CE Vallmoll and the Juvenil preferent of Nàstic de Tarragona. The night will conclude with the fourteenth edition of Vallmollfest, a musical bingo, and music by DJ Megy.
On Sunday, the children's program will include an urban slide with the company Passabarret. In the afternoon, the Colla Vella dels Xiquets de Valls will perform castells (human towers) in the Plaça Major. From 8 PM, the main festival concert with the Orquestra Selvatana at the sports hall will be followed by a gala dinner, one of the most popular events, a fireworks display, and a night ball with the same orchestra.
On Monday, the last day of the festival, a mixed football match between singles and married individuals will take place, including dinner for participants, and havaneres will be offered at the Miracle Seguí Cultural Centre.
