The fair brought together 90 stands and offered more than 50 activities, including tastings, showcookings, and educational proposals, aiming to position Lleida as a significant agri-food showcase for Catalunya. This edition particularly emphasized the connection between local producers, the restaurant sector, and the public.
The Councilor for City Promotion of the Lleida City Council, Pilar Bosch, highlighted the professionalization of the fair model and the importance of the MOS Fair in valuing the producers of the 'Horta' (orchard/garden region) and the city's restaurateurs, under the GastrOrigen brand. Bosch emphasized that the fair serves to explain Lleida's identity through its gastronomy, promoting initiatives like Gastropadrinas and quality labels.
The Provincial Council of Lleida underscored the fair's consolidation as a showcase for the territory's agri-food potential, with the Gust de Lleida brand as a benchmark. The Provincial Council's stand hosted 21 gastronomic demonstrations.
The Department of Agriculture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, participating for the first time under the IMPLICAT brand, reaffirmed its commitment to the fair as a reference for Catalan gastronomy and local produce, promoting conscious purchasing.
For its part, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lleida, Jaume Saltó, positively assessed the separation of the fair model, with the gastronomic and citizen-focused aspect on one side (MOS Sant Miquel) and the professional fair Agrobiotech on the other, considering it a success.
The Motor Show, held concurrently, registered positive figures with 20 participating dealerships, over 176 vehicles sold, and a business volume exceeding 6 million euros, consolidating itself as a benchmark event.
The MOS Fair's program was structured into four main spaces: Gusto de Lleida (promoted by the Provincial Council), the Generalitat's program on the Catalan agri-food system, the DOP Les Garrigues space focused on extra virgin olive oil, and the Lleida City Council's space centered on local restaurants and traditional cuisine, including the Gastropadrinas initiative.
