The event, presented by Carles Solé, general secretary of the Valls Chamber of Commerce, and Rosa Rovira, president of Vallsgenera and councilor for Business and Employment of the Valls City Council, aims to boost the local labor market and facilitate direct contact between job seekers and companies.
The fair will run from 9 AM to 1:30 PM and from 3 PM to 6:30 PM. This year's edition features 42 participating companies, a significant increase from the approximately thirty companies last year. The 208 job offers cover a wide range of profiles, including engineering, cybersecurity, industrial trades, hospitality, logistics, and socio-health care.
In addition to informational stands, the Job Fair will offer internship programs for young people and various career orientation workshops. These workshops are designed to help participants improve their resumes, develop strategies for job interviews, and guide them in accessing public administration, among other aspects.
To encourage participation, attendees will have the chance to enter a draw for two tickets to the Calçofest 2026. The organizers anticipate hundreds of attendees, expecting to match or exceed the more than 700 participants from the previous edition.
