The event, which maintains the motto 'Tot comença a la terra' (Everything starts in the land), seeks to evolve towards a format that prioritizes the visitor experience. According to the organizers, the future project involves enhancing iconic spaces such as Plaça del Quarter, El Pati, and Carrer de la Cort, turning them into the main axes of the fair.
One of the most notable changes is the reorganization of the fair route. The new itinerary will connect Plaça del Blat with El Pati and Plaça del Quarter via Carrer Jaume Huguet. Additionally, institutional stands will move to Plaça del Quarter, which will also host the 'Firagost petita' with family activities.
This year's edition focuses on sustainability and technology. Highlights include the immersive experience Enxaneta 360° from the Museu Casteller de Catalunya and the Agroinnova Conferences, which will address topics such as agro-photovoltaics and bioeconomy. The wine sector will also play a significant role with the Alt Camp Wine and Cava Market.
The program will be completed with the traditional human tower performance (castells) at Plaça del Blat on Wednesday, August 5th, as well as various cultural exhibitions and open house days at heritage sites such as the Sant Joan Bell Tower and the Air Raid Shelter.
