This action, which has already completed its public exhibition phase without any objections, was definitively approved by the council on April 9. The main goal is to modernize the local water infrastructure.
The works will involve replacing the current asbestos cement network with a new polyethylene pipeline, a more durable and efficient material. This improvement will cover the section of Sant Josep Street from Plaça del Casal de Vilabella to the edge of the urban area.
The total investment for this project amounts to 39,005.69 euros, including VAT. Barring any last-minute delays, work is expected to commence in approximately two weeks, thereby improving the drinking water supply in the area.
