In light of this forecast, Civil Protection recommends taking self-protection measures at home. It is important to close and secure doors, windows, and awnings, as well as to lower blinds completely and secure them firmly if they are cord-operated.
Residents are also advised to remove flower pots and other objects from balconies, facades, and terraces that could be blown away by the wind and fall into the street, causing accidents. Similarly, it is recommended to collect clothes from clotheslines.
