The railway infrastructure manager, Adif, announced this Sunday that repair and conditioning works remain active at 31 points across the Catalan Rodalies network, affecting all lines. The priority of the works focuses on protecting slopes and trenches, as well as general track conditioning.
Depending on the evolution of the works, the infrastructure will be made available to the administration responsible for the service and the operator for progressive normalization.
Adif detailed that this list of 31 actions is dynamic, as some works have been completed and others have been recently added. These tasks are being closely coordinated with the Generalitat de Catalunya, the operator Renfe, and the train drivers to optimize incident management.
Within the framework of the activated emergency plan, more than 400 inspections have been carried out across the entire network, especially in sections near the coast and on lines with a high presence of slopes. To execute these tasks, more than 50 teams and approximately 400 technicians and operators have been deployed, along with specialized machinery.
