The Ministry of the Presidency of the Generalitat announced the call for 1,325 civil service positions this February to fill key roles in the Catalan public administration.

The call, announced by the Conselleria de Presidència (Ministry of the Presidency), opens 31 different selection processes. Applicants can apply starting the day after the publication of each process in the Diari Oficial de la Generalitat de Catalunya (DOGC), with the expectation that successful candidates will take possession of their posts by Spring 2027.
Out of the total 1,325 positions, the majority correspond to roles within the Administration bodies, totaling 1,112 positions. These are distributed among the Superior Body (376 positions), Management Body (28), Administration Body (366), Auxiliary Body (114), and Subordinate Body (228).
The offer also includes technical and specialized profiles necessary to address emerging challenges. They are seeking 36 environmental specialists, 10 architects, 11 agricultural engineers, 19 veterinarians, 6 psychologists, and 5 evaluating doctors, among other higher and diploma qualifications.
This new public employment offer coincides with the launch of a talent acquisition campaign for the Generalitat, which will use formats such as collaboration with Catalan influencers, social media content, and outdoor advertising. The main goal is to ensure generational replacement given the strong wave of expected retirements.
