The incident occurred at the Mas de Sant Pau de la Calçada, a property located in the Figueres area, as confirmed by municipal sources. The fire, which allegedly started in a chimney, spread quickly, affecting several rooms of the building.
Emergency services received the alert around 3.30 AM. The Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Firefighters) mobilized a deployment consisting of four units to control and extinguish the flames.
The firefighters' operation managed to limit the damage, although the interior of the building suffered significant impact. The two affected youths were treated for minor injuries.
