INSPAI, which holds over 1.5 million images covering various themes (culture, politics, landscape, and traditions) originating from the Girona regions, has significantly increased the volume of material available online. This figure of nearly 300,000 photographs grows daily thanks to continuous digitization, review, and documentation work.

The revamped portal allows users to consult 47 photographic collections and funds, including detailed information on over a thousand known authors, in addition to unknown collections. This improvement reinforces INSPAI's mission to preserve and disseminate photographic heritage.

The new design, carried out by Iglésies Associats, is characterized by being uncluttered, functional, and adapted to all devices, ensuring intuitive navigation. Menus have been optimized and navigation simplified to enhance accessibility, usability, and SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

This digital transformation consolidates INSPAI's presence as a benchmark in still and moving images. Programming, the search engine, and the dynamic content sections were managed by the Diputació's New Technologies area, while INSPAI directly handled the static content design.
